The Taycan Cross Turismo shines at customer event

On Sunday 17th October Porsche Centre Portsmouth were delighted to host a breakfast meet with our partners at Four Marks Supercar Club at Thruxton Race Circuit.
The day started with Four Marks Supercar Club members meeting at different locations across the South, guests then arrived at Thruxton in a fantastic convoy of supercars including a Porsche 911 GT3, 981 Boxster Spyder and a Cayman GT4, before enjoying a delicious full english breakfast and refreshments.
On the day we had on display the newly registered Shark Blue Boxster GTS and the Taycan Cross Turismo in Crayon.
The Taycan Cross Turismo is an all-electric sports car with innovative 800-volt technology for fast charging, a convincing range and impressive space: the Taycan Cross Turismo is Porsche’s first Cross Utility Vehicle (CUV) and it’s fully electric, versatile, robust – and ready for adventure.
The flat front, muscularly curved wings and a roofline that slopes down towards the rear – even at first glance, the design of the new Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo bears the DNA of the iconic 911. In addition, the flat headlights with vertical air intakes clearly mark it as a member of the Taycan family. And yet the second electric sports car from Zuffenhausen is a Porsche unlike any other.
As the company’s first Cross Utility Vehicle (CUV), the five-door combines classic Porsche driving dynamics with an off-road-capable high-tech chassis. The Cross Turismo is the perfect complement to our existing Taycan family, It is more versatile, more robust, and yet nearly as sporty as the saloon.
The Taycan Cross Turismo certainly received alot of attention from club members, with one guest who owns the vehicle commenting 'I love everything about the Taycan Crosss Turismo, and not just because it's fast, the technology underneath that sleek body really does move the game on in terms of charging speeds an efficiency'
