The dream of a perfect sports car drove Ferry Porsche to create the very first Porsche on 8 June 1948, and that dream is alive and well today 70 years on.
In June this year, to celebrate the 70th birthday of Porsche, our Porsche Centre will be holding a Sportscar Together Day. You, your family and your friends are invited to Porsche Centre Portsmouth on
Saturday 9 June between
09.00 and
15.00 to help celebrate this historic occasion.
The event will be a celebration of all things Porsche, bringing together Porsche drivers and fans, along with a display of both classic and new Porsche models, plus demonstration drives* and fun for the whole family. There will also be the opportunity to experience Porsche driving behind the wheel of a full motion racing simulator and to test your reactions by taking the BATAK challenge. Refreshments will be available throughout the event, including a barbecue.
Please contact Amy Brine on 02392 212350 or info@porscheportsmouth.co.uk if you would like to attend this event.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
